Culture Shocks from Living in Argentina as an Expat?

I think the hardest part was getting used to the dinner schedule. Now that I think about it, oh my god, we used to eat so early! What we considered dinner time is basically merienda time for locals here. But honestly, I’ve grown to love it now.

What’s Going On With Bariloche’s Snow This Year?

A friend of mine went about 10 days ago and was complaining about the same thing. Apparently, it’s already snowing now, and there’s a big storm with heavy snow expected this weekend. Hopefully! A lot of people go every year to take advantage of the season… it’s been a weird one this year.

Any recommendations for laser hair removal for men?

Check out Centro Médico Bioestética in Belgrano. My husband’s been going there for laser hair removal and it’s been a great experience so far. Newcomer Is the Polo Club area safe during concerts?

My daughter's apartment overlooks the polo fields, and whenever there's a concert (which is often), it looks very impressive and well-organized. It's a spacious field, and the neighborhood is quite safe. I'd definitely recommend going if I were you ;-)

Trip Reports A Month in Buenos Aires: Arrival and New Year's Celebration

Sorry about the repellent, my daughter mentioned she purchased some last week from a pharmacy in Palermo Chico where she resides. Perhaps she got the last ones. :(

Newcomer The friendliness of the people is truly remarkable!

During our 6-day stay in Buenos Aires, we encountered a lot of kindness. While it certainly benefited my wife's fluent Spanish skills, people were still friendly towards me despite my less-than-perfect attempts at speaking the language. I strongly believe that one's attitude plays a significant...
