What happens if Argentina gets too expensive? What are alternative cities/countries to move to when it's overpriced in Argentina?

Milei's 14 point loss in the Bs As provinical election early September made many , including myself, think that there was no way he would win more than a few seats in the mid term elections. A couple of friends who are party members actually said to me that the best result they could hope for...

Milei won, but the peso weakened again. What happened?

When you have had a few months at more than 30% a month, 30% per year is tremendous!

Milei won, but the peso weakened again. What happened?

Yip Its going to float between 1450 and 1550 for the next nonth or so and then crawl up to 1600 Thats my opinion But I also said that Milei was going to lose the election and look what happened...

Gerardo Werthein presented his resignation as Foreign Minister to Milei 4 days before the election

Apparently he had been having problems with someone in the governmnet and some of the party officials. But as ever no information , just lots of rumours.

We know wines from Argentina can be great, but will they age?

I can get Alamos in the local Vinoteca for 6,000.

Argentina Blue Dollar Goes up to 1,220 pesos to $1 USD

That's the worst thing - it's a guessing game. We all agree that the current exchange rate does not reflect the true value of the peso, but we are unable to agree on what the correct value may be! And no one is really sure what the USA cash injection really means and if Argetina has put up any...

Argentina Blue Dollar Goes up to 1,220 pesos to $1 USD

The true answer is no one really knows. If he loses , the result may already be built in to market expectations If he gets a "draw" , there might be a slight recovery. Hard one to call ....

Peso posts sharpest weekly fall since Milei took office

Milei may not be running but his credibility certainly is. The bail out from the USA gives him some breathing space and stability for the peso. A good result will bring us two years of agressive Milei anarcho capitalism A bad result and Milei will be on his own and the peso up to 2,000 But...

Why teachers keep teaching despite low pay and overload?

@Betsy Ross , sorry I missed this. Last month's fee was USD$750 - next month close to 800 That's what my friends in Europe are paying Teachers here earn between 600 and 700 per month in the private sector But many will do extra hours in different schools to build up their earnings These are my...

No one is missing Kristina... She was a thief and robbed money from all of us: Is Milei any better? Probably not.
