Moving to Buenos Aires with Teenagers - What type of social activities are there?

I'd let him finish high school at home, figure out what he wants to do next and make your own plans based on that. No social activity will replace a familiar setting

Real Estate Sales Great New Construction For Sale that is going to be Completed by August 2024 - Meet Palermo

OMG. Never saw this! I guess he can say that as a black male. That is very very funny. As females we have the same conversations. Hot and dumb or smart and meh. The age old test of what is best. My combination has been hot and poor/lazy. Now I have ok and ok which on its surface might not...

I agree the more they can get done the better but my husband that is Argentinian tells me that another Socialist will get voted in and it will all be undone again. :(

Thank you! I have reported his posts before. @StatusNomadicus is just strange. Telling locals not to post is just weird.

What a joke! Read the latest Forbes -Argentina Is The Summer’s Travel Bargain—U.S. Dollar Goes 31% Further Than Last Year

Agree. Prices have gone up so much so we are thinking of moving out of Argentina. It is difficult to have a great life here raising a family. Private schools are expensive. Healthcare costs have soared. Dining out has become a luxury. Ubers that were very cheap are too expensive now...

Libertarians outside of Argentina are interested in paying $500,000 USD for an Argentine passport

The wealthy Chinese are going everywhere. My sister in Orange County said more and more rich Chinese are moving into her area. Seems like they will seek out the best neighborhoods so Palermo probably will skyrocket. Belgrano and Nunez too. I also noticed more in Palermo Chico lately.

Banking Credit Card real-world rate "MEP" transaction repo (Dec2023)

ARCA could go out tomorrow and fine everyone. I have only been here a few years but I think most companies and people operate in the black some way. Best that I can tell it is almost impossible to do everything legally. Even if you wanted to. @FuturoBA you make a great point about level of...

Argentina Immigration Changes Coming Affecting Healthcare insurance requirement, Education and Deportation

Same thing happened to us. 50% increase. We balked and hesitated but then we took a look at what else is out there. Many places have gone up. @Darksider415 you are probably like us. We already made it our home and we have a cat and cat proofed it with netting outside of the balconies and...

Politics The Argentine Government resigned from the BRICS through a letter sent by President Javier Milei - CNN

I don't really get why this is a smart move. I feel like Argentina should totally take a page from India's book. You know, just chill in the middle, be friends with everyone, and do business with everyone too. Look at India – they're becoming a total powerhouse. But nope, Milei seems to have a...
